Rule of Law

Since the early 1990's, we have maintained a legal exchange

between the governmental and legal sectors of Maine and the

Archangel Region.  Many judges, lawyers, court administrators,

city officials and regional legislators have traveled to learn

the best practices of what the other community has to offer.

In addition, law professors and law students have traveled to

teach, study or work as legal interns. Finally, social workers

and law enforcement personnel have traveled to focus on

a number of societal challenges common to both communities.
